ISO refers to the International Organization for Standardization, which was founded in 1946 in order to develop a common set of manufacturing, trade and communication standards. In a nutshell, ISO provides the foundation for a quality assurance program. Over the last decade, this worldwide program has become one of the most recognized and leading standards in the world.
As Canyon Creek Cabinet Company continues to grow, the need for consistent and ongoing documentation of manufacturing processes and quality standards has become extremely important. It became very clear to us that we needed a system that would maintain consistency and drive product improvement. Because the ISO quality management system is a proven means to achieve a quality assurance program, Canyon Creek decided to move forward with this internationally acclaimed organization.
Since early 2002, Canyon Creek has devoted considerable time and resources to achieving the status of becoming ISO-Certified. In September of 2003, Canyon Creek Cabinet Company was accepted into the ISO 9001:2000 quality management system, which helps organizations to achieve customer satisfaction and to monitor continual improvement.
By joining the select group of U.S. manufacturers who are ISO-Certified, Canyon Creek Cabinet Company is required to pass regularly scheduled audits of its quality assurance system. As our ISO Certification continues to mature, you will benefit from our improved operations by receiving even higher quality products from us.
