Canyon Creek Appoints New Dealer Training Manager

Canyon Creek Cabinet Company has strengthened its dealer services program with the addition of Royce Hogue as Manager of Dealer Education. For many years, Royce has served as a product and price catalog trainer for both large and small cabinet manufacturers, and has vital industry experience in building and developing training programs for cabinet dealers.

Canyon Creek offers classes throughout the year whereby its dealers can learn about its extensive products and services and receive hands-on training in the 20-20 Technologies cabinetry design software program. These comprehensive classes train Canyon Creek dealers to use its Price and Specifications Guide to easily design, price and order cabinets. Because Canyon Creek is committed to updating its product line to fit the latest in product and design trends, the price book is continually evolving to contain new product introductions.

Canyon Creek Hires New Regional Sales Manager

Canyon Creek Cabinet Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Johnson as the Regional Sales Manager for their Montana/Idaho/Wyoming/Utah sales territory. Based in Henefer, Utah, Stephen will be serving Canyon Creek's dealer customers and helping to build their business in this growing region.

Stephen has worked in the cabinet industry for over six years, and has cabinetry design/sales management experience with a major national retailer as well as with a small custom cabinet manufacturer. Stephen also has comprehensive sales management experience with a number of different industrial manufacturers.

Canyon Creek Donates Cabinetry To Ywca Housing Project

Monroe, WA - October 2006

Canyon Creek Cabinet Company was recently recognized for its cabinetry donation to a Seattle-based YWCA housing project. The cabinetry was used in the renovation of the main kitchen of the building that houses the youth program for the YWCA and from which approximately 8,000 meals a year are prepared.

The cabinetry chosen for the project was Canyon Creek's Cornerstone framed product, in their Oxford door style, in Oak and with a Honey stain.

The YWCA in Seattle is one of the largest providers in the region of emergency shelter and transitional housing for homeless women with families. The YWCA youth program serves the shelter's youth aged 5-18 years. The youth program has also partnered with Seattle University and the University of Washington to provide tutors to help the youth with homework and school activities. Through the program, the participants learn to better achieve academic success, healthy eating habits and lifestyle choices, and exercise through dance and swimming programs. The youth program kitchen is also used to teach cooking classes.
