Canyon Creek Cabinet Company Announces 2007 Dealer of the Year Award

Refined Designs was recently named as Canyon Creek Cabinet Company's "Dealer of the Year" for 2007. Canyon Creek chose Refined Designs based upon their relationship and performance in the following areas: upper management, customer service, marketing and showroom design, credit, accounting and shipping.
Chris Rohde of Refined Designs started his business in June of 2004 in Peoria, Arizona. He began with a 1,000 square-foot showroom and 1,500 square-foot warehouse. In 2007, he doubled the size of his space by taking over the suite next door. Working primarily with high-end builders in the new construction market, Chris has also diversified into the remodeling market by increasing his product offering to include granite countertops and flooring. Chris chose Canyon Creek for all the cabinetry in an 89-home gated community he began last year, with homes starting at $1,000,000.
Upon presentation of the award at a Canyon Creek-sponsored event during the recent K/BIS in Chicago, Chris said: "It is a great honor to have won the award. I'm sure that there are plenty of other dealers out there who equally deserved it, so it is very rewarding to us. We respect everyone at Canyon Creek, and everything they do for us as a dealer. We owe much of our success to Canyon Creek because of their hard work, constant improvement to the product line, and willingness to help us to secure many lucrative projects over the years. We love being a Canyon Creek dealer, and look forward to many more years of success in our partnership with Canyon Creek."

Canyon Creek Cabinet Company Announces 2007 Rookie of the Year Award

Canyon Creek Cabinet Company has selected Pacific Cabinetry & Design of Vancouver, Washington, to receive their 2007 "Rookie of the Year" award. Although not a rookie to the cabinet business and kitchen design, Tamara also has a degree in interior architectural design. Her husband and business partner Ron is also in the housing industry as a supervisor for a local construction company.
Pacific Cabinetry & Design completed their first full year of business with Canyon Creek in 2007, and demonstrated outstanding performance as a business partner in the distribution of Canyon Creek products. The annual Canyon Creek award is judged using the following criteria: use of innovative showroom displays, annual sales volume, effective use and knowledge of Canyon Creek products and procedures, and quality and quantity of promotional activity to market Canyon Creek products.
Tamara started her business in November of 2006 and serves both new single-family home construction and high-end remodels in the Vancouver area of Washington State.
According to regional sales manager for Canyon Creek Craig Gunnell, "Tamara had a very specific plan in starting her business and she's well ahead of her sales forecast. Her showroom is excellent with a wide variety of products and finishes in her displays. She made the investment for the long-term and it really shows. With her talent, professionalism and business ethic it's no wonder she was chosen for the award."
During the award presentation at a Canyon Creek-sponsored event during the recent K/BIS in Chicago, Tamara said: "What a great surprise to find out that our company has been awarded Rookie of the Year! It was hard to predict what things would be like going into our first year of a new business. However, looking back, we exceeded our own expectations! As our customer base grew, we started to see referrals from satisfied customers. Before we knew it, our sales goal had doubled by year-end.
Tamara continues, "Having Canyon Creek as our cabinet supplier definitely added to our success. Our sales rep, Craig Gunnell, was there from the beginning. From the quality cabinetry that the factory produces, to their outstanding customer service department, it's made it possible for us to stand behind the products we provide for our customers."
Canyon Creek Receives Employer of the Year Award

Canyon Creek Cabinet Company, located in Monroe, Washington, was recently presented with the "Employer of the Year" award from the Monroe Chamber of Commerce. Nominated by employees of Canyon Creek, the award was presented to the company for its efforts and demonstration of "exceptional commitment to the well being of its employees." The award was given to Canyon Creek during the 17th Annual Community Awards Program, held at the Monroe High School.
