Inviting/Entertaining
These rooms have “Party” written all over them. Islands are large, with plenty of seating, and often feature a second sink. Cooktops are either on a far wall, out of the way of the action, or positioned on the island so the chef can visit with his/her guests. Wine coolers, double wall ovens, and oversize refrigerators are common. Cabinetry may reach all the way to the ceiling - the better to store all those serving platters! Clear Acrylic Panels or glass are favored to break up the cabinetry and accent collections of china and drinkware.
