These are the kitchens that exemplify the phrase "details, details, details." Modern kitchens almost always use a flat-panel or recessed panel door. Hardware is kept simple and straightforward, as are plumbing and lighting fixtures. Stainless steel appliances are practically required, and are usually kept out in the open, not hidden behind cabinetry panels. Acrylic or glass panels may be used as an accent, but will generally be clear or frosted.
