The primary challenge in designing a new kitchen is to create a room that maximizes function and available space. Canyon Creek provides hundreds of affordable custom options to balance form with function - no matter what size space you have.

The first step in designing your new kitchen is knowing how much space you have. Print our "wish list" form so you can start recording measurements and making sketches of your layout. If you'd prefer, your authorized Canyon Creek distributor will be happy to help you with this critical step.

Use these grid notes to provide your kitchen specialist with the following dimensions of your existing kitchen to begin designing your new room.

  1. Wall lengths
  2. Wall/ceiling height
  3. Location of windows, doors and walls
  4. Dimensions from floor to bottom of windowsill
  5. Bottom of windowsill to top of trim
  6. Location of drains, appliances, water supply, gas lines, electrical outlets and switches
  7. Location and size of your sink
  8. Size, description and placement of all appliances
  9. Do you have soffits, and if so, what size are they?

From these measurements, we can begin designing your new dream kitchen.

The next step is getting an idea of how you would like your space to look, feel and function. Print this form and take some time to answer the questions. This will give you an excellent idea of what direction your kitchen design project will take. Bring this form with you when you meet with your kitchen design specialist to start planning your layout.

Canyon Creek offers so many space-saving options and innovative storage solutions that it isn't practical to show them all on the website. Be sure to ask your kitchen design specialist about ways to make the most of your square footage.
