    2025 Design Contest

Congratulations to the winners of Canyon Creek’s first ever Design Contest, and thank you to all the designers that participated!

    Winning Designs

The First Place kitchen comes from designer Monica Nichols of Linked Design Group. It features the Cortina door style in Millennia frameless cabinetry, with warm white Creme paint on the perimeter and Sage paint with Licorice Patina on the island.

“We re-designed a nearly 20-year-old home by removing dated and dark builder-grade wood cabinets. Our design went in the opposite direction by choosing light-painted, semi-custom cabinets. Our favorite parts were the custom designed metal hood and the green painted island that tied in the soft neutral green tones in the quartzite countertop.”

First Place in the Bath category is courtesy of Angela Rennie at American Cabinet Suppliers. The Cornerstone framed design features the Equinox door style in maple with Olive Pick Your Paint Select

“After my client moved into her new home, she knew that she wanted to update her bathroom to reflect her current lifestyle as a retired judge and soon-to-be grandmother.  She really wanted a space to relax and unwind as well as an organized space with lots of storage beyond a cluttered countertop. She also wanted to add a glamorous yet functional area to get ready for the day.”

Our Dream Concept Kitchen winner is designed by Varsha Pawar of Studio Setu. Full-access frameless Millennia cabinets fit the design brief, and are finished with the Shaker door in Snowcap paint and Pick Your Paint Clary Sage (SW6178) from Sherwin-Williams.

“The clients envisioned a spacious kitchen with ample storage and a welcoming atmosphere for entertaining. Reconfiguring their existing space allowed us to relocate the kitchen into the former dining area, creating a seamless flow into the living room.

To address the challenge of keeping the open kitchen clutter-free, we custom designed cabinetry to discreetly house small appliances. Sherwin Williams’ Clary Sage defines most cabinets with a fresh, organic tone, balanced by Canyon Creek’s Snowcap for brightness. Enlarged windows and doors flood the space with natural light, frame views, and enhance connection to the outdoors.”

    Second Place Designs

The Second Place kitchen is courtesy of Teresa McCunn at Ealy Construction. Dynamic Rustic Hickory in a warm stain finishes the Lynden Solid door for Millennia.

“This kitchen remodel transformed a dark, cramped, and disconnected layout into a bright, open space for cooking and entertaining. Natural wood tones, custom cabinetry, and pendant lighting create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Special touches include a built-in wine rack, hidden under-cabinet power strips, and a countertop drop zone near the garage. The homeowners now have a functional, elegant kitchen in which they love to cook meals and host guests.”

Sherylee Ceccanti from SC Cabinetry & Design submitted this warm, welcoming bath in Rift White Oak with a Shadow stain, on the Dover door for Millennia.

“The new Primary Bath achieves a balance of sophistication and comfort. Deep drawer storage is strategically placed between the two sinks, providing both practicality and symmetry, keeping the space organized without sacrificing design.

The overall atmosphere is spa-like, with a calming and contemporary feel that makes the bathroom both visually striking and highly functional. The finished result is a refined, serene retreat that perfectly complements the home’s modern style.”
