Update from our CEO regarding COVID-19

On Monday, March 23, Washington state Governor Jay Inslee issued proclamation 20-25 Stay Home – Stay Healthy, which impacts all residents in our state.

Within this proclamation, the governor’s office outlined a list of essential critical infrastructure workers including “construction workers who support the construction, operation, inspection and maintenance of construction sites and projects (including housing construction) …” After careful review of this proclamation, review with legal counsel and discussions with our customers, suppliers and employees, we have determined that our business is essential to supporting the building industry under the guidelines. With this decision we are pleased to inform you that Canyon Creek will remain open and operational. (Please see the Contact Us page for updates on our showrooms, which are currently closed.)

The health and wellness of our team, their families and you, our customers, are our top priority. We will continue to practice all government, CDC and healthcare recommendations to maintain social distancing and create a safe working environment. This process has already included ensuring key support teams are able to work from home and onsite employees have accommodations to maintain proper social distancing.

This is a time of uncertainty for us all. To date, we have experienced some disruptions as our team and community have worked to adjust to daily changes. We have been working diligently to manage this challenging landscape and mitigate the impacts to our customers. We will continue to update you as conditions evolve.

I am confident our team’s collective spirit, partnership, dedication and hard work will enable us to navigate through these challenging times. Please continue to keep all those directly impacted in your thoughts. And on behalf of our entire team, thank you for your patience and understanding.

Sincere regards,
Robert Foote
