Canyon Creek Cabinet Company is pleased to announce that their former executive VP Doug Chadwick—who recently retired—was recognized for his many contributions over the years to the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA) during their annual meeting last week in Napa, CA. The KCMA is the principal trade association representing North American cabinet manufacturers and suppliers to the industry.
During a standing ovation, Doug was designated an “Honorary Member of the KCMA” and only 38 of these awards have been presented to members during the KCMA’s 60-year history. Doug served for a number of years on the KCMA Environmental Stewardship Program (ESP) planning committee. The ESP is the only nationally accredited environmental certification program that specifically focuses on kitchen and bath cabinets.
Says Doug: “I’m very humbled but honored to receive this award. My career in the cabinet industry has been really fulfilling—both personally and professionally—and I’m very grateful to the KCMA.”
Bill Weaver, president & CEO of Canyon Creek adds: “Doug is a true friend and we’ve been through a lot together—good times, tough times and we’ve seen many changes. He is well-liked and respected by everyone and while we miss him, we wish him the best in his retirement.”
