Canyon Creek’s newly promoted president, Bob Foote, was recently interviewed by Bill Virgin, editor and publisher of Washington Manufacturing Alert. In a wide-ranging discussion on the state of the cabinet business, Bob touched on some of the challenges and opportunities Canyon Creek faces.
Noting that “kitchen cabinetry is a fashion product,” Bob pointed out that painted cabinetry and simple styles are currently in vogue. Canyon Creek introduced the Curated Collection of 24 paint colors earlier this year, and continues to build its library of door styles to address both needs.
With the flexibility to customize product to fit the customer’s needs, “the ability for customers to get what they want is a selling point for Canyon Creek.” Bob went on to discuss some of the strategies the company employs to stay on top of the ever-changing marketplace.
